Our Editor-in-Chief is Angelo Scorza, Economics graduate from Genoa
University with a Master in Maritime Studies Department at the Cardiff
University (United Kingdom), a professional journalist skilled in maritime economics and transports, since 1993 cooperating with national
papers and magazines and official Italian correspondent for a number of
shipping, transports and logistics international publications. The editorial office, headquartered in a XIX Century mansion at Via
Felice Romani 8/2A in Genoa, consisting of skilled reporters and
professional photographers, works in synergy with the main national and
international magazines. A wide number of correspondents in the main seaports and in the hub
centers for trade and logistics in Italy, as well as in some foreign
countries, ensures the full territorial coverage and the market
leadership.

WHAT The English headline (Ship-to-shore) embraces all the subjects about which we write:
our magazine deals with maritime issues taking into consideration the inland transport too (with regard to freight) and hence combined transport and logistics, including road and rail modes. Ship2Shore also analyses the passenger market with regard to its maritime leg: cruises and ferries. The typology markets concern all shipping and transport areas: Passengers, liquid and solid bulk cargoes, general cargoes and unitized, special cargoes, perishable commodities, specialized trades etc… The geographical areas considered are: Italy, the Mediterranean and the World. WHEN Ship2Shore is a weekly magazine, published every Monday on our website www.ship2shore.it with a notice given through our Newsletter which lists the articles headlines, freely mailed to anyone at his own request.
Despite its weekly frequency could penalize our magazine as far as information speed is concerned, compared to press agencies and newspapers, Ship2Shore is often the first one to catch the news with advance information or scoops; in any case we thoroughly analyze the news, often superficially covered by other media, in order to offer our reader a serious, exhaustive, fair and unprecedented piece of information. Moreover, at regular intervals the editorial staff produces Special Supplements, detailed monographic reports offering a thorough profile about professional categories, geographical areas, events, specific markets, highlighted through interviews and investigations on current problems such as prospects and expectations for the future. One of our major skills is our Opinion Polls and Enquiries concerning current events, developed at frequent intervals among our readers and operators. WHERE The Newsletter is released by e-mail to over 25,000 individual operators both in Italy and abroad; in order to receive it, anybody can make a simple request through his own e-mail box. HOW TO READ US Our magazine is made of a variable number of pages (about 20 A4 sheets) including over 30 articles illustrated with color photographs. The reader can either read it on the PC monitor or blackberry or print the whole Magazine in PDF format, read each single piece in Html or PDF format, download and save the texts on his own computer The Subscriber inserts login and password (chosen at his own will) directly on-line. The new reader can register on our website in order to obtain a free access period lasting 3 weeks and afterwards he can make a subscription at the rates stated in the “Subscription” entry.
