The Netherlands greet Shipping.Dk

Holland is the latest country, after Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Estonia, where the Danish project cargo liner company sets up its own branch office

Shipping.dk Netherlands BV is the new branch office of the Danish project cargo liner company, which has put its foothold in another country, after Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Estonia, in continuity with its ambitious policy of continental expansion that start up almost three years ago with the setting up of the Genoa office (Ship2Shore n.38/2006). “Through our widening network, we can provide the client also with assistance for the unloading operations as well as for the liner service by acting as shipagents” tells Paola Ghiani, managing director of Shipping.Dk Italy.
“The new branch in the Netherlands allow us to take care also of the cargo inland routing via barge on the capillary network of river waterways in Holland and Belgium” adds Daniel Hartman, who has been designated to run the new office. “Shipping Dk Netherlands will be working in line with our other branch offices around Europe, having full access to the fleet of Shipping Dk and doing agencies in all of Netherlands”.
Shipping.Dk is part of the shipowning Group United Shipping & Trading Company (USTC), belonging to founder magnate Torben Østergaard-Nielsen, who is mainly involved in bunkering and oil trading.
