Tarros returns to Spain calling at Tarragona
The Iberian port will be listed within the rotation operated between Algeria and Italy
After having reshuffled their services, Spezia-based Tarros shipping company returned to Tarragona-Spain.
As announced by Dynaliners, the Spanish port has been listed within Italy-Algeria decade service operated by Ignazio Messina & C. calling at Tarragona, La Spezia, Genoa and Algiers.
The news was confirmed by Danilo Ricci, managing director at Tarros, illustrating how this port gave the company the opportunity to return to the Iberian Peninsula.
“Tarragona – said the manager – is smaller than Barcelona and less visited by major global carriers, however we are particularly interested in serving the adjacent industrial area.
From Algier, where we have a swap bodies repair and storage facility, we intend developing the East-West corridor among Turkey, Italy and Spain by exploiting our transshipment terminal of La Spezia”. Ricci also added that 530 TEU boxship Holandia, engaged on the service, already called Tarragona twice with great success.
