Silver Shadow is almost ready for the Invictus program

In November the ship will be subject to refurbishment within Silversea’s tonnage development and strengthening plan according to a renovation inspired by Silver Muse

As anticipated after last year take-over by Royal Caribbean, the refurbishment of Silversea's ultra-luxury fleet will start at the end of the year within the Invictus project, a long-term plan for tonnage development and strengthening based on a thorough renovation inspired by Silver Muse’s design.

In November 2019, the “only suite” ship Silver Shadow with a capacity of 388 passengers will be subject to refurbishment in order to provide increasing comfort to its guests. The refurbishment – scheduled also for the units Silver Whisper and Silver Wind – will concern the creation of a new Atrium area on deck 5 and significant improvements of all the suites, corridors and several public areas, including the renovation of its restaurant La Dame, of the Connoisseur’s Corner and of its Casino.

“We are determined to keep Silversea’s standards flawless, and Silver Shadow’s refurbishment implies a significant investment for the sake of our guests”, Silversea CEO Roberto Martinoli declared.

The unit’s maiden voyage following its renovation will consist in a 7-nights cruise in the Caribbean, sailing from Fort Lauderdale to San Juan on December the 3rd 2019.

Headed by its executive chairman Manfredi Lefevbre d’Ovidio, Silversea Cruises is an innovative company in the extra-luxury cruise sector, providing high value added services on its ships Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, Silver Spirit and Silver Muse, which are all designed to offer convivial atmosphere and casual elegance.

Following the recent addition of the ships Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos, Silver Discoverer and Silver Cloud to its Expedition fleet, Silversea’s itineraries include all the seven continents: from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, from both the polar regions to hundreds of fascinating intermediate destinations.

Silversea is about to launch 5 new ultra-luxury units: Silver Moon, Silver Dawn, Silver Origin and 2 Evolution-class ships.
