Scerni joins partnership with International Andromeda Shipping
Genoa-based entrepreneur took over minority shares in the Monegasque company managing and operating oil tankers
Paolo Scerni, Genoa-native entrepreneur permanently settled in the Principality of Monaco, professionally hosted by the shipmanagement company which is also operating Aframax tankers SN Claudia and SN Olivia, hit the headlines again for having invested in this group.
According to reliable sources, Scerni allegedly took over 10% shares in International Andromeda Shipping, multifaceted group, founded in Montecarlo in the early '90s, managing and operating oil and gas tankers.
The company declined to comment the news, essentially corroborating the fact that the helm of Scerni Group has further strengthened a partnership with majority shareholders Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio and Massimo Filosa.
Technical and commercial management is provided through International Andromeda Shipping Sam of Montecarlo (which Paolo Scerni joined partnership with), while Andromeda Shipholding also controls other shipowning companies.
Since early this year, the group's fleet grew to 7 units when they bought, for 12 million dollars, from Kyklades Maritime, Suezmax tanker White Trader (ex Sifnos) that joined 2 oil tankers (Scarlet Trader and Green Trader), 2 MR1 tankers (Emerald Stars and Coral Stars) as well as LR2 units Orange Stars and Pink Stars.
