Marco Fiori to leave d’Amico by next year
The Board of Directors of DIS announced the resignation of its CEO at the end of 2018
Marco Fiori, Chief Executive Office of d'Amico International Shipping SA (DIS), incorporated in Luxembourg, announced to the Board of Directors his intentions to resign from the position for personal reasons, effective from 31 December 2018.
The company - a subsidiary of d’Amico Società di Navigazione S.p.A., one of the world’s leading privately owned marine transportation companies, operating in the product tankers sector, comprising vessels that typically carry refined petroleum products, chemical and vegetable oils - accepted his resignation, expressing the most heartfelt thanks to him for the important contribution he has made over the years and wishing him further professional successes.
Fiori holds 2 million DIS stock options and 140, 000 company shares; so he will lose the stock options matured at the date of termination of his charge. In line with the current remuneration policy, DIS will recognize him the fixed fees for 2018 and the final amounts established by law,
DIS indirectly controls, either through ownership or charter arrangements, a modern, high-tech and double-hulled fleet, ranging from 35,000 and 51,000 dwt, has offices in key market maritime centres (London, Dublin, Monaco and Singapore) and its shares are listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
