Algérie Ferries is looking for a new ferry
The company's planning a new trade with Civitavecchia as from next year
Algerian ferry operator Entreprise Nationale de Transport Maritime de Voyageurs (ENTMV, or Algérie Ferries) is looking for a new ship younger than 5 years.
According to the tender request issued on its website, offers are receivable – from owners, brokers or shipyards only – within 6 January 2013 at the latest.
No technical specifications are provided but it is likely that the new ferry will put be on duty on the new trade with Civitavecchia (Rome) Algérie Ferries announced it will launch next year.
Presently the Algerian operator has a fleet composed of 3 owned and 2 chartered ships, and employs a 1,230 staff, whereof some 700 seamen.
