The 2nd International Conference INTRANSLAW was held in Zagreb
The Croatian Transport Law Association, the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Adriatic Institute) and Institut du Droit International des Transports (IDIT) have organized the 2nd International Conference INTRANSLAW in Zagreb, a forum for an academic and professional discussion on the theme of Transport Law towards the Future, after the successful first large gathering of transport law science and profession held in the same place trwo years ago.
The theme of the Conference was the challenges which lie ahead in new technologies, business models and globalization. Among the hot issues were latest developments regarding Cyber future of Marine Risk and Insurance.
Among speakers was Maja Bakran Marcich, EU Deputy Director-General, DG Mobility and Transport.
The conference hosted representatives of the Croatian and French ministries of transport, Maja Markovčić Kostelac, State Secretary, and Eric Louette, Advisor in the French Department of Transport – Ministry for an Ecological and Solidary Transition, who gave lectures within the section on digitalisation and new technologies in transport.
Also Frans van Zoelen, CLO of the Port Authority of Rotterdam and Legal Counselor to the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), as well as Ann Fenech, member of the CMI Executive Council and the President of the Maltese Maritime Law Association, took part.
