Ravenna Port Authority Presidency is vacant again
The preliminary investigation Judge confirmed the disqualification from public offices issued at the beginning of September against president Daniele Rossi, secretary general Paolo Ferrandino and technical direction manager Fabio Maletti, which had been annulled last week due to a procedural error
Following the recent investigative interview, the preliminary investigation Judge Janos Barlotti confirmed the disqualification from public offices issued at the beginning of September against Central-Northern Adriatic Sea Port Authority president Daniele Rossi, secretary general Paolo Ferrandino and technical direction manager Fabio Maletti within an investigation related to the partial sinking (with hydrocarbons spills) of the wreck of the motorboat Berkan B, which has been moored in the port for years.
Rossi’s disqualification resulted in the appointment, on the part of Minister Paola De Micheli, of Paolo Ferrecchi as administrator. However, said appointment ceased following the annulment of the precautionary measure resulting from an appeal submitted by the suspects (who had not been questioned before the application of the disqualification measure).
Rossi, Ferrandino and Maletti will appeal to the Court of Review, while Paolo Ferrecchi will probably be re-appointed as port authority president.
The engineer, Head of the Directorate for Territory Care of the Emilia-Romagna Region, knows the port hub project in detail, therefore local institutions are happy with him.
In any case, the new administrator will be appointed after a new official measure on the minister’s part.
