New terminal operator MDC welcomed the New Cap of Sahel Line connecting the Italian port to Sousse and Sfax

The new MDC terminal operator of Marina di Carrara, an initiative launched by Perioli Spa, which was recently adjudicated concession to operate on part of Chiesa and Taliercio quays, welcomed the first ship of Sahel Line (company controlled by Spezia-based company) whose loading/discharge operations (grains, marbles, pipes and boxes) took one day.

The new line is replacing the one previously departing from La Spezia operated by CNAN Med, Algeria-based company 49% participated by Dario Perioli, which was diverted to Marina di Carrara.

Michele Giromini, Managing Director of Dario Perioli’s MDC, proudly showed being “satisfied by the new terminal's launching, which is going on as envisaged on the related business plan”.

After having thanked everybody “everybody who helped achieve this result in such a short time” the manager also commented that: “Marina di Carrara targets growing, improving and developing trades and our group will do its best to become a leading player in the local economy”.
