GTS link from Costa Morena Est to Bologna was finally launched
Bari-based railways operator will manage traffic from the Emilian intermodal platform to Brindisi port, recently provided with a railway junction
The unprecedented railway connection was launched last May 24th, essentially connecting Brindisi port to Bologna interport through Costa Morena est railway junction.
The service was recently launched by AdSP MAM, before institutional representatives and Nicola Muciaccia, President of GTS railway company, which will operate the train.
Meanwhile the authority also illustrated they intend “turning Brindisi port into an international hub for integrated logistics” not only supporting port trade, but also supporting the wide number of companies operating on the market.
As announced by Bologna airport it will originally be a weekly service departing every Thursday to be back on Friday.
