Four more ARMG arrived in Vado Ligure
APM Terminals’ platform, completed by 77%, will have 21 yard cranes manufactured by ZPMC
Further developments for Vado Ligure APM Terminals as they just received the other 4 ARMG (Automated Rail Mounted Gantry Cranes) manufactured by the Chinese ZPMC. The cranes arrived on the ship Zhen Hue 22, which had to wait outside the port for one day due to bad weather.
The current number of yard cranes in the Liguria terminal amounts to 14 (in total they will be 21, and also the other 7 units will be manufactured by ZPMC), while next spring they will receive 3 STS (ship-to-shore) units, adding to the one already received in December.
Vado Gateway is currently completed by 77% and its entry into operation is scheduled for next December.
