De Nardo from Silversea to MSC Crociere
The Italian cruise manager has been named as vice president, port development, from the Geneva base
Cruise industry experienced Italian manager Elisabetta De Nardo has been named as vice president, port development, MSC Crociere; in this position, she reports to Gianluca Suprani, the company’s senior vice president, global port development and shore side activities.
Based out of MSC Crociere’s global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, she will focus on supporting the establishment and development of strategic partnerships with cruise ports around the world.
With a background on Shipping & Maritime Economics, De Nardo previously worked in the cargo shipping business and joined the cruise industry in 2007, working for Costa Crociere and Silversea as of 2014 from her Monaco base.
“I am delighted to welcome Elisabetta to our growing team; with already 15 cruiseships in our fleet and another 10 due to join in the next 8 years, we are increasingly expanding our operations around the world, covering more regions, ports and destinations. I am confident she will help us establish new strategic partnerships with international ports and manage existing ones” was the official comment of Suprani, who also holds a previous experience with Costa Crociere before joining MSC Crociere a few years ago.
