Another CVS Ferrari poker in Genoa
VTE container terminal owned by PSA in Italy has added 4 trucks to its fleet
VTE, the Genoa based container terminal owned by PSA, has added 4 CVS Ferrari truck to its fleet.
Specifically, the company has purchased 2 mast type Empty Container Handlers, model ECH10.7, that can stack 10 ton weight containers up to 7 high x 8’6’’ and is in the process of receiving 2 RS3 model Laden Container Reach Stackers from its Full Service operator Global Service.
The Reach Stackers have a first row capacity of 46 ton and a stacking ability of 6 x8’6’’ containers, whilst in the second row they have a capacity of 33 ton and a can stack 9’6’’ boxes to 5 high.
The ECH trucks are equipped with a single stack telescopic spreader and feature a load moment indicator and limiter.
VTE is one of the two Italy based sea terminals owned by PSA, the second one being VECON in Venice. With these four last machines, PSA-VTE operates 25 CVS Ferrari trucks.
