New Italian head for TX Logistik
Gotelli is the new CEO of the German rail company part of the Mercitalia - FS Italiane Group, to replace Pahl who reassigned earlier
Gian Paolo Gotelli is the new CEO of TX Logistik AG (Mercitalia – FS Italiane Group), having been appointed as the head of the rail logistics group by the Supervisory Board.
He takes on the position of CEO with immediate effect, thus replacing Mirko Pahl, who had resigned earlier for personal reasons, with the goal to orientate TX Logistik even more strongly in the European context and to make the company a pillar of the international development of Mercitalia.
The Genoa-born Gotelli has many years of experience in rail freight transport with the FS Group, for which he also worked in various CEO positions: starting in 1996 at Trenitalia Spa, apart from four years at VTE Voltri Terminal Europa, as Rail and Gate Supervisor, he has spent all his career in the Italian State Railways Grouyp FS: he started with Trenitalia Spa, before going to Serfer Srl (2011-2014) and then passing to Trenitalia Cargo, which meanwhile in 2016 became Mercitalia Rail.
As previously, the Executive Board of TX Logistik includes Albert Bastius (COO) and Berit Börke (CSO), ensuring continuity in the management of the company.
