Go-ahead for the intermodal connection between Bologna and Trieste
The new railways connection will be operated by Alpe Adria, with Mercitalia Rail providing traction
A new intermodal connection between the interport of Bologna and the port of Trieste will be launched on June the 17th.
The combined maritime service will be operated twice a week by Alpe Adria, with Mercitalia Rail providing traction.
The Bologna intermodal railway yard – which is already connected to the ports of La Spezia and Livorno – recently welcomed also the American footwear and sportswear company Champion, which will manage the new 20,000 square meters 14.3 warehouse built by Vailog, adding to the 13 logistics warehouses already built inside the interport by the real estate developer.
